Sophisticated Understanding Of New York Construction Laws

More than 25 years ago, our firm's founder Michael Berkley began his construction law career. Representing contractors who were renovating restaurants and small commercial buildings, he has expanded the firm and honed his skills as a lawyer, while also adding the skill of support staff members and attorney Melaine C. Alphonso.

Our firm now focuses on handling a vast range of construction law matters, and represents contractors, sub contractors, developers, property owners, property managers, material suppliers and design professionals involved in large-scale projects such as hotels, condominiums and office buildings.

Mr. Berkley is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York and New Jersey in addition to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd and 9th Circuits. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Construction Law Committee and Bergen County Bar Association and an Allied Member of the American Institute of Architects.
